Store Associate
Duties include: maintaining legal compliance in the sale of cannabis and related products (budtending), making product recommendations based on customers specific needs, stocking and merchandising, continual cannabis education, cleaning and sanitizing, front desk, delivery order coordination, and other retail-related tasks as necessary. Full training is provided. Applicants interested in both Store and Delivery positions may assume a combined role throughout their shifts, as needed.
Starting pay $13/hour, $15/hr after 30 days
PTO, Medical, Major holidays off
Full-time: 40 hours (4 days / 10hr shifts)
Part-time: Tentative
Position-specific requirements:
- At least 1 year experience in retail, FOH food service (not preparation), bartending, or wine pouring
- Cash handling experience
- Familiarity with and confidence using computers, internet, and mobile apps
- Physical ability to work busy 10-hour days, mostly on your feet
Working in the store is rewarding and exciting! But it requires a hard work ethic, teamwork, the ability to multitask and be aware of what’s happening in all areas of the premises, and the willingness to spend your days doing a wide variety of tasks in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidates will have excellent customer service and sales skills plus well-rounded knowledge of and comfort with using a variety of computer and mobile applications such as POS and other software, cloud filesharing, email and SMS communication, etc.
Delivery Driver
Duties: follow an assigned route to deliver cannabis to customers, with discretion, professionalism and compliance with all state and local laws and regulations.
Starting pay $13/hour, $15/hr after 30 days
Hours: Part time (Full time potential if also working in-store)
Major holidays off
Position-Specific Requirements:
- Must be able to get to Arnold within 20 minutes of receiving call to work
- At least 1 year experience driving professionally (preferred)
- Cash handling experience
- Familiarity with using mobile apps
- Ability to pass background check
- Clean driving record
Working in the field is a super fun job! You get to deliver pure joy to your customers while getting out on the road every day and enjoying the scenery. But it requires the ability to keep your bearings, remain calm under pressure, and commit to the set time schedule and assigned daily route. Problem-solving and customer service skills are critical. The ideal candidates will have experience delivering for work or otherwise driving professionally, familiarity with Calaveras and Tuolumne roads and areas, and confidence in using smartphones and mobile apps for most work-related tasks.
